I knew today would be a long day...I just didn't realize how long. The new drug they've added to Rick's chemo cocktail is called Urbitux. It takes an additional 2 hours for that to drip into him. We were at SCCA from 9:00am until 4:15 this afternoon...just in time for afternoon Seattle/Everett traffic.
He is really fatigued tonight, but other than that he had a good dinner and hasn't felt sick at all. Let's hope this stuff is working already. Rick's tumor marker has continued to climb the charts so they know the cancer is active. I'm ready to see some change.
I'm pooped, so I'm heading off to bed. I'll write more tomorrow.
